Day 1 & 2 in Japan

After 22 hours since we left Normandy house in Provo at 5:30am, we finally arrived Nagoya Japan airport. (Thank you for dropping us off at the airport, mom.)
We both slept here and there in the plane or while waiting for the next flight.

By the time we got to Nagoya, we are pretty exhausted but nothing can stop us from eating delicious Japanese food! So, this is the very first picture that we took in Japan.

It's a famous restaurant in Japan and they serve delicious fish.
That night we arrived home after 10pm, which was 6am in SLC. We both slept really good in futons, the traditional Japanese bedding put on the floor.

Next morning, Day 2, we woke up before 6am.

My brother came back home to see us from Tokyo. He got home about 1am the night before. So, we got to see him in the morning.

We decided to get breakfast at a popular cafe in this area. It's about 15 minutes walk along the river called "shonai gawa," in which David commented "it sounds like Sho ga nai" and we burst out laughing, because "sho ga nai"means "it can't be helped" in Japanese.
Anyways we went and ate breakfast. In Nagoya, you don't buy breakfast, but a drink. So, when you order a drink in the morning, it automatically comes with a slice of toast (a large buttery piece) and an egg. We got there before 8am, but you see people dressed in suits and some were already leaving. It's on Saturday 8am!! Well, I guess we can see similar things around temples, right?!

Then, we went out for my favorite Indian curry restaurant for lunch and my dad took us fishing.

David caught some fish and dad cooked them for dinner.

Then, we visited my friend who grow up with together across the street to see her baby. We came back 11pm and went to bed. What a day from the day 2.
