Week 19

Photobucket

Right after we called Margaret and laughed with pity for how she had to get up in the middle of night to roll Asher back to his back, we faced the same story. Yes, our Yuna started to roll, too! Since Sunday afternoon, she rarely had naps during the day because she cannot stay on her back. However, thanks to that, she is super tired by the time she goes to bed that she still sleeps good 12 hours straight.

Yesterday, Aug. 29th, Yuna started to make a new noise. Pay attention to her facial expression as she makes the noise.

Week 18

Yuna learned to push her body up. We often find crying because she is banging her head at the corner of the crib and cannot go any farther.

The Secret Post

For all those reading out there in the ether, this is David, using my skills to sneak into Yaya's account and show the world one of my many entrepreneurial inventions for Yuna, because she is just too cute to pass up this opportunity.

A more bird's eye view to get the full effect of Yuna's new pacifier accessory.

A nice 'stache to give here some more pazzaz.

Earlier today Yaya asked me to send pictures of Yuna to her at work so that she could see how she is doing, (being the overly loving mother she is). I said I will do so, but knowing myself to well I will not be able to take those pictures and send them, whether it be I was too tired, or Yuna was just not cooperating, there are just too many reasons. So in order to fulfill my word of sending pictures to Yaya I decided to just give here a drink every morning before she heads off, just until I start being able to take those pictures she wants so bad.

4 months old

Photobucket

Recently Yuna started to cry when she sees unfamiliar faces. So I was worried to leave her behind with just David plus Christian. After working 10 and half hours, I found that they did quite well. Their frustration levels were much lower than I expected. Good job, David, Chris, and Yuna!! Although her bedtime was 7:30 p.m., she was wide awake and a happy little bird then. So, Yuna and I had a good long chat about what she did today, which made my first day going back to work much merrier.
With breast feeding and work, I can have a positive expectation about getting back to my normal weight pretty soon. I gained about 18 kg (40 pounds), and lost 13 kg (28.6 pounds) at this point, but a better sign for the expectation is my SORE legs from hiking up to Stewart Falls for 5 hours, with the kids that I work with. They really hurt since all I did this past four months was playing/taking care of Yuna who does not even have a baby step yet. On top of that, my boss told me the kids were training for triathlon which coming up in 2 weeks. We will be starting snowboard/ski sessions in November. And my life guard training is coming up as well. How blessed I am to be a Recreation Therapist!

I will massage my legs with aroma oil and follow Yuna to my bed.

Wasatch Academy

I LOVED the drive to Mt. Pleasant. It was just beautiful and all the mountains were stunning. I finally got to pass through the wind electric generators, in which I was wondering where they located whole time living in Provo.

Now, some of them have already seen this gorgeous fairy tale house belongs to the Smiths. I felt like visiting a house in This Is The Place Heritage Park. Antique furnitures are always my favorites. I am excited to see what they will plant in their great garden.

Yuna got to meet with the Princess Yuna, the unicorn of Norah's. The unicorn was named by Norah shortly after Yuna was born. How precious!

Wasatch Academy was right across the street from Nadia's house. It was a school that has

an English teacher named English and

a nice technology building with

walls you can use as enormous white boards. Of course, there were a lot more cool things but I had to run back to the house to feed a fussy baby.

On the way back, we took aunt Anna's recommendation and visited the only cafe around the area for lunch.

Yuna was also fed by mama D and baba.

Lastly, we visited a little museum in Fineview, a few blocks away from the cafe.

Meeting with Buddy

She did not have any interests in him, nor Buddy did.
